Undersea Mine Hunter

We sold a small inertial sensor to a major prime for the prototype development for a mine hunter program. From that initial sale we were able to increase our scope on the project to provide a complete section in the new undersea mine hunting drone prototype. This secured us a spot as the largest subcontractor to a major prime on this program worth 100s of millions of dollars. We also received $1M in engineering R&D funding to support the prototype effort. The initial seed money was acquired via an ONR Rapid Innovations Funding Program. After supporting the writing of the winning proposal we received $8M in Engineering development funding to finalize the design and prepare for large scale production. The production effort will last 10-15 years at $10M per year.
